Papers of Gilead Sperry include a letter from his brother about moving to Plattsburgh, 1816, valuation of a plot of land by Levi Platt, 1817, and agreement between Sperry and Joseph Brown, 1812. Papers of George Sperry include letters from his sister about Plattsburgh social life, 1838-1847, other family letters, 1867-1879, civic appointments, 1858-1876; and correspondence, notes, and agreements from his millwright business in Chambly, Canada, 1847-1853. Other papers include postcards, school records, letters from her brother Ripley, and family genealogical letters of Catherine Sperry, 1868-1916; clippings on the Sperry family; page from an account book on the costs incurred on the Sperry house in Plattsburgh, 1868; and a manuscript copy of an article on the total eclipse of the sun, 1806.
